Management systems14 to provide for the assurance of quality shall be applied to all safety related activities, systems and components throughout all the steps of the development and operation of a disposal facility. The level of assurance for each element shall be commensurate with its importance to safety.
14) The term ‘management system’ includes all the initial concepts of quality control (controlling the quality of products) and its evolution through quality assurance (the system for ensuring the quality of products) and quality management (the system for managing quality).
[5.22~5.26] 안전성 접근법
품질보증을 위해 제공되는 관리시스템들14은 처분시설의 개발과 운영의 모든 단계에서 안전 관련 모든 활동들, 시스템들과 구성요소들에 적용되어야 한다. 각 요소의 보증의 수준은 안전성과 관련된 그들의 중요성에 부합되어야 한다.
14) “관리 시스템”이란 용어는 품질제어의 모든 초기 개념들(제품의 질적인 부분을 제어)과 품질보증(제품의 질적인 부분을 보증하기 위한 시스템)을 통한 그것의 진화와 질적인 관리(질적인 부분을 관리하는 시스템)을 포함한다.
