5.2. 처분시설의 예상되는 조건하에서 폐기물 형태 거동에 대한 모델링과 시험이 서로 다른 폐기물 포장물과 비포장 폐기물의 물리적·화학적 안정성을 보증하기 위해 그리고 예상운전과도 또는 사건이 발생하였을 경우, 그들의 적합한 성능을 보증하기 위해 수행되어야 한다.
