The regulatory body shall establish regulatory requirements for the
development of different types of disposal facility for radioactive waste and shall set out the procedures for meeting the requirements for the various stages of the licensing process. It shall also set conditions for the development, operation and closure of each individual disposal facility and shall carry out such activities as are necessary to ensure that the conditions are met.
[3.8~3.11] 정부, 법률 및 규제 체계
규제기관은 방사성폐기물에 대해 서로 다른 유형의 처분시설 개발을 위한 규제요건을 수립해야 하며, 인허가 과정의 각 단계에서 각 요건에 부합하기 위한 절차를 수립해야 할 것이다. 또한 각개별 처분시설의 개발, 운영 그리고 폐쇄에 대한 조건도 규정해야 할 것이며 그러한 조건들에 부합한다는 것을 확신하기 위해 필요하게 되는 행위들을 수행해야 할 것이다.
