Necessary activities for the subsequent stage of development of the safety case should be described, such as acquisition of additional data or planned improvements in modelling. If certain activities can proceed only after decision points or milestones have been reached (e.g. decisions on the site for the facility), these should be identified.

7.11. 특히, 안전사례가 단계별 접근법에 따라 개발될 때는 안전사례의 각 개정을 전체 개발 프로세스의 과정(context) 속에 놓는 것이 중요하다. 안전사례 개발의 후속단계에 필요한 활동은 추가적 데이터의 취득 또는 모델링의 개선계획과 같은 것으로, 설명되어야 한다. 만약 특정 활동이 오직 의사결정 시점이나 주요활동이 이뤄진 뒤에만 처리될 수 있다면, 이것은 확인되어야 한다.
