처분시설에 관한 정보 입수 가능성을 유지하기 위한 제도적 관리 및 방식을 다루기 위해 폐쇄 이후 기간에 대한 계획을 준비하여야 한다. 이러한 계획은 수동적 안전 특성에 일치해야 하고 시설 폐쇄를 위해 어떠한 승인이 부여되는지에 대한 Safety Case 부분을 구성하여야 한다.
