The doses and risks associated with the transport of radioactive waste through public areas to a disposal facility are required to be managed in the same way as the doses and risks associated with the transport of other radioactive material. The transport of radioactive waste is subject to the requirements of the IAEA’s Regulations for the Safe Transport of Radioactive Material [17].

2.14. 공공장소를 통과하여 방사성폐기물을 처분시설로 운반하는 작업에서 비롯된 선량과 위험은 기타 방사성물질의 운반과 관련된 선량 및 위험과 동일한 방식으로 관리되어야 한다. 방사성폐기물의 운반은 방사성물질의 안전 수송을 위한 IAEA 규정(IAEA’s Regulations for the Safe Transport of Radioactive Material) 요건의 적용을 받는다[17].
